NATO 🇺🇦 "99 percent of all defence support reaching Ukraine is provided by NATO member states. I think that says a great deal about the strength of the relationship between Ukraine and NATO." - emphasised Pierce Cazalet, Director of NATO's Defence and Security Cooperation Directorate. (ENG below)
The support Ukraine receives from NATO and Allied member states spans a wide range of areas. Initiatives such as the Prioritised Ukraine Requirement List (PURL) help identify the most urgent needs and match them with support from NATO member states and partners.
Without the capabilities that PURL provides, Ukraine would not be able to defend itself the way it does today. The scale of destruction would be far greater, as would the number of civilian casualties," said Pierce Cazalet, Director of NATO's Defence and Security Cooperation Directorate.
Unwavering support for Ukraine remains one of the Alliance's main priorities. NATO member states have committed to provide €70 billion in military assistance to Ukraine this year and at least the same amount next year.
"Ninety-nine percent of all defence support reaching Ukraine is provided by NATO member states. I think that says a great deal about the strength of the relationship between Ukraine and NATO." - emphasised Pierce Cazalet, Director of NATO's Defence and Security Cooperation Directorate.
