DJI Mini 5 Pro bundle drops under $1,000

A stronger Mini package at a sharper price

A new price cut is making DJI’s compact flagship-class Mini bundle harder to ignore. The Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo with RC 2 has dropped to $979, putting a fully equipped setup within reach for buyers who want more than a bare drone.

For many users, the appeal is not just the headline discount. It is the fact that this package combines the drone with the essentials needed to keep flying longer and work more comfortably from day one.

Why this bundle stands out

Fly More Combos are designed for people who do not want their flight session limited by a single battery. In this case, the package includes three batteries, plus the RC 2 controller, which offers a more dedicated control experience than relying on a phone alone. That matters for pilots who value convenience, faster setup, and fewer interruptions in the field.

The Mini 5 Pro itself sits near the top of DJI’s compact lineup. Its appeal comes from blending strong imaging performance, smart subject tracking, and a highly portable form factor. That mix makes it attractive to travelers, content creators, and anyone who wants a capable drone without moving up to a larger platform.

Why the timing matters

When a bundle like this drops below the $1,000 mark, the value equation changes. Instead of buying the aircraft first and adding batteries later, buyers can start with a more complete configuration that is ready for longer sessions and broader use right away.

What makes this deal practical

• Three batteries extend flying time between charges.
• RC 2 makes control feel more self-contained and efficient.
• The bundle is more compelling than a discounted drone alone because it reduces future accessory spending.

For anyone who has been waiting for a meaningful discount on DJI’s most capable Mini package, this is the kind of offer that makes upgrading much easier to justify.
